Please join us this Saturday May 28th at 10:00 AM at the Oregon Depot Museum for our monthly installment of Those Were the Days. This month we will present a video on the history of National Clothing House. National Clothing House was located for decades in the Jacob’s block at the corner of Washington & 4th St. Roger Cain and Chris Martin went to California and recorded their visit with long time proprietor Gene Lebwick Jr. Gene’s grandfather opened the business in 1896 and his father joined the business in 1923. In the video Gene reminisces and tells the history of this iconic Oregon business.
